In the garden (L’une 42)

| available from my studio |

This artwork belongs to my “L’une” series. It speaks about our nature and our mother Earth.

It is a double meaning word. I found it appropriate for this series; in French it means “the one” (she), and “Lune” – moon.

It’s a moody portraits series, where I want to express the fragility and beauty of the woman features, by trying to capture a moment, an impression. They seem reflexive, or day dreaming, or maybe slipping into a melancholic, undefined mood

– the exact size is 144 x 93 cm / 56.7 x 36.61 inches.
– oil & acrylic on canvas
– year created: 2017
– I applied to it more isolating layers of final varnish.
– it has about 7-8 cm (3 inches) extra white margin on the edges, in order to be stretched on wooden frame later on.
